Christmas Photo Documentation Wk-15/16?

My idea for this week’s assignment was to document my week and how I stay in the holiday spirit even in quarantine. I know this year during these times everyone has a range of different emotions. For most of us our plans have turned upside down due to Covid-19. There wont be any big family gatherings with distant cousins or any traveling which is what many of us look forward too. I know especially for my I've been dreading the holidays due to the fact that I wont be able to travel to Michoacán Mexico to visit family I haven't seen in 2 years and missing out on attending church this past weekend that is also considered a holiday because we honor the Virgin Mary a tradition for me and my dad for 17 years. I decided to document my way of staying jolly through these times. I believe that my documentation came out how I expected it too but one thing I would do differently would be taking the pictures with a better quality camera. I chose to do photos because I wanted to give a visual representation and become more comfortable sharing my life.

Arrived at work 8:00 and I bought my co-workers coffee so they could start off the week in a great mood! :)

At work from 8am to 5pm.

My job hooked us up with free hand sanitizer.

Went Christmas shopping but made sure to social distance and wear a mask the entire time.

Loved these seasonal lip balms. Especially with this cold weather my lips tend to get very chapped.

Helped my mom begin to decorate our home with Christmas decorations. My fav part.

I hung up the cards my dad received so far. He is a landscaper and most of his clients are so sweet and always send him a card this month.

I put on my new Christmas socks and listened to Christmas music, its one of the best ways to start feeling the spirit.

Enjoyed some of my favorite seasonal cookies.

Bought some gift wrapping supplies.

My first year giving out presents. I wrapped a few presents and still have more on the way. I dedicated my first paycheck to buying my family something for the holidays.

Ended my weekend with my medium post for ART110 and lit my tree scented candle.
